NUTRITION INSPIRED BY THEIR NATURE.

Biologically Inspired. Expertly Curated.

Dogs are built to move, explore and thrive, and their biology tells us what that takes. So we don't start with trends or fillers. We start with the dog. ULTRAWELL™ puts animal protein and fat at the center of every formula and sharply cuts back digestible carbohydrates. Every ingredient has a reason to be there. It's a better way to think about dry food, and a better way to help your dog live ULTRAWELL™.

It’s Time to Rethink Dry Dog Food

THE DIFFERENCE IS INTENT.

Every ULTRAWELL™ product starts with a clear purpose. Ingredients are selected for meaningful roles. Formulas are developed around understandable needs. And everything we create is thoughtfully designed to support how pets thrive—today and throughout their lives.

Because better wellness does not come from simply adding more. It comes from making every choice matter.

That’s Dry Dog Food,
Rethought.

PROTEIN FORWARD.
PURPOSEFULLY FORMAULTED.

Dogs use protein, fat and carbohydrates for energy — but they have no established dietary requirement for carbohydrates. Starch-rich ingredients are in traditional dry food because they hold a kibble together, not because a dog needs them.

ULTRAWELL™ puts animal protein and fat at the center of the formula and dramatically reduces digestible carbs. Same bowl, same scoop, same shelf life — a different formula underneath.

THE SCIENCE OF LOW CARB

What researchers keep finding when carbs come down.

High-protein, low-carbohydrate feeding has been studied in dogs for two decades. Here's the short version — tap a finding to read it.

01 More weight lost, more muscle kept In a 12-week trial, overweight dogs on a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet lost more body fat while preserving lean mass compared with a high-carbohydrate control.

The same study reported reductions in serum triglycerides relative to the high-carbohydrate control group — an effect long documented in human low-carb research and, per the authors, obtainable in dogs as well.

Journal of Nutrition, 2004 — high-protein low-carbohydrate diets enhance weight loss in dogs
02 Steadier blood sugar after meals Dogs fed a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet showed elevated postprandial glucagon and amino acids and a tendency toward lower glucose than dogs on moderate-carbohydrate diets.

Researchers note that HPLC diets can improve glycemic control much as high-fiber diets do — which is why ULTRAWELL pairs low digestible carbs with purposeful fiber rather than choosing one or the other.

Translational Animal Science, 2025 — postprandial glucagon and amino acid response in adult dogs
03 More calories burned after eating Lean adult dogs on a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet showed greater post-meal energy expenditure and fat oxidation than dogs on a moderate-protein, moderate-carbohydrate diet.

The authors describe this as potentially useful in managing obesity, a common health concern in dogs. When carbohydrate intake is low, the body mobilises more fatty acids from fat stores for energy.

Translational Animal Science, 2025 — postprandial energy expenditure in lean adult dogs
04 Fewer hungry dogs on a diet Conventional weight-loss feeding leans on hard calorie restriction and big fiber loads — which leaves dogs hungry, raises stool volume and hurts palatability, so owners quietly stop following it.

Protein and fiber both raise satiety. A dense, protein-forward food lets a dog eat a smaller, more satisfying portion instead of a large volume of low-calorie filler.

Journal of Nutrition, 2004; Translational Animal Science, 2025
05 Closer to how a dog would actually eat Most kibble carries a significant carbohydrate load from grains or starchy vegetables — corn, wheat, rice, peas, potatoes — largely because those ingredients bind the kibble and make it shelf-stable.

A high-protein, high-fat, low-carbohydrate profile more closely resembles a diet built primarily from animal protein and fat. ULTRAWELL keeps the convenience of dry food while moving the macros.

Whole Dog Journal, 2026 — the science behind high-protein, low-carb feeding
06 Owner-reported day-to-day changes Low-carbohydrate feeding is commonly associated with better weight management, lean muscle maintenance, healthy metabolic function and steadier energy without blood sugar spikes and crashes.

Reported alongside improvements in stamina, coat condition and mood stability in some dogs. Individual results vary — body condition, not the bag, is the measure that matters.

THE VALUE CASE

Low carb without the low-carb price tag

Air-dried, freeze-dried and fresh all get carbs down — and cost a multiple of kibble to do it. ULTRAWELL™ delivers the macros in a bag you can buy at a feed store.

Format Est. cost per day · 50 lb dog
  • Premium kibble $3.02
  • Fresh, cooked $8.75
  • Air-dried $10.62
  • Freeze-dried $15.83

No freezer. No thawing.

Shelf-ready kibble. Scoop and serve at home or on the road.

Smaller scoop, same dog.

Is a low-carbohydrate diet safe for my dog?

Dogs can use carbohydrates for energy but have no established dietary requirement for them. UltraWell is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for maintenance, so it is complete and balanced for healthy adult dogs. If your dog is pregnant, growing, or managing a medical condition, talk to your veterinarian first.

Is this a grain-free food?

UltraWell is built around animal protein and fat, with fiber coming from sun-cured ground miscanthus grass and pumpkin rather than starchy grains or legumes. The goal is a low digestible-carbohydrate load, not a marketing category.

Why is my dog eating so much less than before?

Because the food is more energy dense, roughly 470 to 475 calories per cup. A dog switching from a conventional kibble often needs a noticeably smaller portion. Use the feeding calculator as a starting point and adjust to maintain ideal body condition.

How do I switch my dog over?

Over ten days: 25% UltraWell for days 1–3, 50% for days 4–6, 75% for days 7–9, then 100% from day 10. Feed once daily or split the daily amount into two meals, and keep fresh water available at all times.

What sizes and recipes are launching?

Two recipes, Bacon and Chicken, each in a 24 lb (10.89 kg) and a 7 lb (3.18 kg) bag. Both are adult formulas suitable for all dog breeds.

How does this compare to air-dried, freeze-dried or fresh food?

Those formats reach similar macros by removing the processing constraints that require starch, and their cost per day reflects it. UltraWell moves the macros inside a conventional dry format: a low-carb, high-protein diet at kibble economics, with no freezer, thawing or subscription.
